OFZ Bucovina is a manufacturer of mid-grade Mn ore. The history is dated back to the year 2018 when OFZ, a.s. obtained an extraction licence in the Suceava County in Romania and this was also the year to launch Mn ore mining under the subsidiary OFZ Bucovina. Mn ore reserves for open-pit mining are 0.5 mil. tonnes and for undergorund mining around 1 mil. tonnes. The annual production capacity is around 45,000 tonnes of wet Mn ore.

The plant currently employs 30 workers. This Mn ore grade can be used as a substitute for carbonate ore for a production of Mn alloys.
